The Year 4 Creative Writing Foundation Course is designed to help children aged 8–9 fall in love with writing while building the essential skills they’ll need for the 10 Plus exams. and as the course that sets the foundation for 11 Plus writing preparation.
Led by me, Joycellyn Akuffo — journalist, author, and founder of Geek School Tutoring — this course blends expert teaching with creativity and confidence-building.
Your child will learn how to write clear, powerful sentences, build a rich vocabulary, create vivid descriptions, structure stories using the story mountain, and explore everyday writing like diary entries, recounts, and letters.
Unlike school lessons, this course is interactive and personal. Each module includes:
